PERSONAL PRIVATE TRAINING SESSIONS
WE PROVIDE PRIVATE LESSONS AT A CLIENT HOME OR AN AGREED UPON PUBLIC LOCATION. HERE ARE SOME TYPICAL BEHAVIOR ISSUES WE SEE ON A REGULAR BASIS. JUST CONTACT ME , DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM, AND WE WILL GET ON TRACK TO A BETTER LIFE WITH YOUR DOG TODAY. Sessions start at $120/ hour (depending on location).
WALK THIS WAY - "LEASH DOCTOR"
Professional leash training can turn your daily dramas of leash pulling and "Snifari" adventures into pleasant times with your dog. If you're open to tools and learning, we can make your walk enjoyable.
REACTIVITY!
Reactivity is a symptom. Reactivity can show itself on a walk, at the front door, in the backyard, in public, etc. We'll tackle not only the symptom, but the root cause, to help your dog learn to remain calm, practice impulse control, and engage with you, rather than all the distractions in the world.
SEPARATION ANXIETY...
In a post COVID world, this is one on the most common issues we see. It's likely that, without realizing it, you're nurturing your dog's separation anxiety. We'll come up with a game plan specific to your dog and your lifestyle to eliminate this issue.
RESOURCE GUARDING - TOYS, FOOD, SPACE, PEOPLE
Table for 5 please... Yes, your dogs can actually learn to live together, dine together, play together, all while respecting you and the other members of your household. Your dog will need to learn obedience and impulse control, while also building a strong relationship with you as the leader of the pack.
SWIMMING LESSONS and OTHER ADVENTURES
Few dogs are natural born swimmers - especially in a hardscape home pool. Dogs often need at least an introductory lesson in your pool to become comfortable in the water. For safety, it is important that your dog learn how and where to enter and EXIT the pool.
NEW DOG / WELCOME HOME
Structure is so important, especially for a new puppy or adult dog coming into a new home. I'll give you all the do's and don'ts of creating boundaries and rules within your home, and a respectful relationship with your dog.
PUPPY TRAINING
GET THEM OFF TO A GREAT START! WE HELP YOU TRAIN YOUR PUPPY IN YOUR OWN HOME. WITH JUST A FEW LESSONS, YOU CAN DO THIS!
PUPPY TRAINING / BECAUSE PUPPIES HAVE TO LEARN EVERYTHING and so do you.
- Crate Training, House Training, and yes, Potty Training.
- Eye Contact Exercises – mark/reward eye contact.
- Word Association – this is not a guessing game.
- Positive / Neutral Socialization – people, dogs, places, sounds; important for preventing reactivity.
- Proper Use of Affection – oh, yes, you can "love" your new puppy too much at the wrong times.
- Appropriate Play Behaviors – for you, and your puppy, too.
- Confidence Building – whining is not an option.
- Hand Feeding – whoa, watch those needle teeth.
INTENSIVE TRAINING / BOOTCAMP
INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMS COVER BASIC OBEDIENCE SKILLS THAT ALL DOGS NEED PLUS SPECIFIC TRAINING PER YOUR DOG'S STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT AND BEHAVIORAL ISSUES. SPACE IS LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
THREE-WEEK CAMP
From $1800
The three-week program at my home covers house manners and basic obedience including recall, place, and leash skills.
Depending on the dog, lessons may also cover:
- confidence building
- positive/neutral socialization
- urban comfort and agility
FOUR TO SIX-WEEK CAMP
From $2400
The four to six-week program at my home builds on the skill sets of the three-week program with additional focused training specific to your intended lifestyle with your dog.
SPACE IS LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
DAY CAMP AND SLEEP OVER
DAY CAMP IS OFFERED ONE FULL DAY ALMOST EVERY WEEK. DAY CAMP AND SLEEP OVER ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THOSE DOGS THAT I HAVE PERSONALLY TESTED AND APPROVED, OR THOSE THAT HAVE GRADUATED FROM THE INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM.
DAY CAMP
$35 / visit
Approved clients can drop their dogs at my home for a day of supervised playtime and socialization with other dogs. This service bills on a per day basis. Day camp hours are currently from 7:30 am to 6 pm multiple days per week - your dog will love the break!
Clients must have pre-approval for early drop-off and/or late pickup.
SPACE IS LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
SLEEP OVER
$55 / night
Approved clients may also leave their dogs at my home for an extended stay while traveling for work or fun. This service charges on a per day basis and clients may request and add specific training sessions for a reasonable fee. Dogs often need behavioral refresher courses as they develop from puppy to adulthood.
SPACE IS LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
ADVANCE RESERVATIONS (1 WEEK OR MORE) ARE REQUIRED FOR PUPPY TRAINING, ALL INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMS , DAY CAMP, AND SLEEP OVER. DEPOSITS ARE REQUIRED FOR PUPPY AND INTENSIVE TRAINING. ALL OTHER PAYMENTS MUST BE PROVIDED AT COMPLETION OF SERVICE.
